The company gets bikes: Why a small fleet of bikes can make a big difference.

Customer appointments around the corner, trips to the post office, quick visits to neighboring buildings—none of these require a company car. A small company fleet makes teams spontaneously mobile, saves time and parking stress, and demonstrates sustainability in action—right outside the door.

Why a small fleet of bicycles wins out in everyday life.

What does the team use the fleet for – five typical scenarios.

  • Customer appointments within a 5 km radius: arrive, lock up, go in—no parking ticket or traffic jams.
  • Errands & "last mile": Post office, government offices, small purchases of office supplies and snacks – done faster than with car sharing.
  • Campus & factory premises: From building A to C in no time at all; with a cargo bike, you can take samples, laptop trolleys, or small materials with you. Paper is missing here – tape is missing there.
  • Active lunch break: If you like, take a short ride through the park during your break. Exercise reduces stress, lifts your mood, and clears your head – effects that have been demonstrated in studies after short exercise sessions at lunchtime. (Of course, only if internal regulations allow pleasure use.)
  • "Test center" for company bike leasing. The fleet is ideal for simply trying out e-bikes or cargo bikes – without any obstacles and with a real route. Such "try-before-you-buy" models have been proven to increase the willingness to switch to bikes because they reduce uncertainty and convince people through everyday testing.
How about this: one bike for all trainee needs! For first business trips, exploring the location, and maybe even the route to vocational school: a low-maintenance entry-level bike with everyday setup (lights, Mudguards, pannier rack) lowers barriers and provides mobility from day one.

How to set up your bike fleet in just a few days.

Two people are working together on laptops in a modern room, with several e-bikes in the foreground.

The infrastructure motivates when it is close at hand: covered bike racks right at the entrance, a power strip for charging. Maintenance without overhead works with a fixed rhythm: a quick check every 6 to 8 weeks (e.g., to check the brakes, air pressure, and chain lubrication). Employees report defects using a QR form – the ticket is sent to the appropriate contact person.

To begin with: the announcement.

Der Roll-out gelingt ganz einfach:
